Unlock an area only when you can use it

Being able to pay for a mine does not mean you are ready to work there. Check the live Cash requirement, then look at your Damage and TNT. If the fee empties your wallet and the first wall still eats several blasts, the unlock has done nothing for your route yet.

Build power in the current mine, save without neglecting essential capacity, and buy access. Then run the new mine for a few minutes and compare it with the previous one. That quick test is more useful than assuming the later area must pay better.

Read the two gates separately

Area progression has at least two practical gates:

  • The Cash gate is the amount shown by the current unlock interaction.
  • The power gate is the Damage and TNT strength needed to clear those blocks without wasting your supply.

Prices, names, and exact durability can change, so read them in the current game. A guide that lists an old cost cannot tell whether your account is ready as well as a live test can.

Prepare in the current mine

Farm the most profitable route you can already clear. Place TNT centrally, collect every crater, and sell when supply or inventory creates downtime. Use the proceeds on Damage or TNT when the new area is a power challenge. Add capacity if the future test would end before you learn anything useful.

Avoid overinvesting in power after the current mine is already effortless. Once your setup looks ready, saving the unlock cost becomes the actual priority.

Test the new area correctly

After unlocking, do not judge it from one awkward edge placement. Find a normal dense cluster, place TNT centrally, ignite, collect, and repeat for a short run. Note how many blasts clear the route and whether the resulting blocks justify the time.

If the new mine is too slow, returning to the prior area is not failure. It is the efficient funding step. Earn there, improve the power gate, and retest. If the new mine clears well, shift your main route and reassess collection range and capacity for its larger or deeper craters.

Push depth after access

Deeper mining is tied to rarer block discovery, so an area unlock is the beginning of a route, not its completion. Advance through connected clusters. Spread multiple TNT across intact sections, and concentrate blasts only against blocks that visibly require it.

If a rare or Secret block resists your setup, keep the route marked mentally and improve first. One stalled target should not consume the supply needed for a profitable sell cycle.

Avoid common area mistakes

  • Buying access because the button is affordable without checking power.
  • Emptying Cash that was needed for the TNT tier that makes the area usable.
  • Comparing a perfect old-mine run with a poor first placement in the new mine.
  • Staying in the new area after repeated tests show worse income.
  • Trusting an old cost list instead of the live gate.
  • Assuming every deeper target is worth unlimited blast time.

Use the mine deeper guide after access, or the Cash spending guide when saving and upgrades compete.

FAQ

How do I unlock new areas?

Use the current area interaction and meet its displayed requirement, then enter and test the mine with your existing setup.

Why is a newly unlocked mine too difficult?

The Cash gate was met, but your Damage or TNT strength has not yet met the area’s practical power gate.

Should I return to an older mine?

Yes, when it produces faster reliable sales. Use it to fund the power needed for the new area.

Are area prices fixed?

Treat exact prices and names as update-sensitive and check the current game before saving.

What should I upgrade before unlocking?

Prioritize the power needed for entry blocks, then enough TNT capacity to run a useful test.
